Peas Sautéed with Butter and Mint Recipe

 

Ingredients

 

Serve 4-6

  • 1 lb/500 g hulled/shelled peas

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 4 tbsp finely chopped mint + extra leaves, to garnish

  • salt and freshly ground white pepper to taste


Method:

  1. Cook the peas in salted, boiling water for 10-15 minutes, or until tender. Drain well.

  2. Place the peas in a frying pan with the butter and mint. Season with salt and pepper and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Turn out onto a serving dish. Garnish with the mint leaves and serve hot.
