Garlic-Marinated Zucchini Recipe

extra-virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic, finely
chopped

1 small bunch fresh basil,
torn

1/8 tsp mild chili powder

1/8 tsp salt

zucchini/courgettes
Method:

Mix the oil, garlic, basil,
chili powder, and salt in
a small bowl.

Wash the zucchini, pat dry on paper towels, and
slice finely lengthwise.

Brush with the marinade and let marinate for about 1
hour.
Drain the marinade from the zucchini slices.

Arrange the zucchini in small batches on a grill
pan. Grill for about 8 minutes, or until tender,
brushing with the marinade during cooking.

Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot.
