Cauliflower Curry Recipe

 

Ingredients

 

Serve 4

  • 1 onion, coarsely chopped

  • 1 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)

  • 2 tsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric

  • 2 tsp garam masala

  • 1 medium cauliflower, broken up into small florets

  • juice of 1 lemon

  • salt to taste

  • 1 cup/250 ml water


Method:

  1. Sauté the onion in the ghee in a large frying pan over medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until golden.

  2. Add the coriander powder, cumin, chili, turmeric, and garam masala and cook for 2 minutes.

  3. Add the cauliflower and drizzle with the lemon juice. Season with salt.

  4. Add half the water, cover, and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender. Add more water if the sauce dries out during cooking. Serve hot.
