Focaccia with Pesto Recipe

 

Ingredients

 

Makes one (10x15-inch/25x30cm) Focaccia 

  • 1 quantity Focaccia Dough (refer recipe)

  • 3/4 cup/180 g Pesto

  • 1 tbsp milk

  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil


Method:

  1. Prepare the focaccia dough, kneading the pesto in as you work. Set aside to rise (about 1 hour).

  2. Oil a 10 x 15-inch (25 x 38-cm) baking pan. Roll the dough out into a rectangle to fit the pan and place in the pan. Let rise for 30 more minutes.

  3. Preheat the oven to 450°F/220°C/gas 7. Brush with the oil and milk.

  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden. Serve hot.
