Pasta Shells with Peas and Green Beans Recipe

 

Ingredients

 

Serves 4-6

  • 1 lb/500 g large pasta shells

  • 8 oz/250 g green beans, coarsely chopped

  • 1 cup/125 g shelled peas

  • 8 oz/250 g tomatoes, peeled, seeded, and coarsely chopped

  • 1 1/4 cups/150 g freshly grated Pecorino cheese

  • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 sprig marjoram, finely chopped

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


Method:

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted, boiling water for 5 minutes.

  2. Add the green beans and peas. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the pasta is al dente.

  3. Drain and transfer to a serving dish. Add the tomatoes, Pecorino, oil, marjoram, salt, and pepper. Toss well and serve hot.
