Bulgur
Wheat with Walnuts Recipe
Ingredients

2 cups/250 g
bulgur
wheat
-
2 1/3
cups/400 g shelled walnuts

1 tsp salt
-
1 onion,
finely chopped
-
16 cherry
tomatoes, halved
-
2 tbsp finely
chopped mint + 1 sprig mint, to garnish

4 tbsp
extra-virgin olive oil
Method:
-
Soak the
bulgur wheat in warm water for 15 minutes.
Drain, squeezing out the excess water.

Chop the
walnuts coarsely with 1 teaspoon of salt on a
chopping board.

Mix the
bulgur wheat, walnuts, onion, tomatoes, and mint
in a large bowl. Drizzle with the oil.

Refrigerate
for 15 minutes. Garnish with the mint and serve
with garlic-flavored yogurt.
