Couscous with Dates and Almonds Recipe

 

Ingredients

 

Serve 6

  • 1 lb/500 g instant couscous

  • 6 tbsp almond oil

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp orange flower water

  • 2 tbsp confectioners'/icing sugar

  • 1/2 cup/100 g chopped dates

  • 1/2 cup/100 g chopped pistachios

  • 1 cup/100 g chopped almonds

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon


Method:

  1. Prepare the couscous according to the instructions on the package.

  2. Transfer to a large bowl and stir in the oil and salt. Stir in the orange flower water, 1 tablespoon of confectioners' sugar, dates, pistachios, and almonds.

  3. Mix well and transfer to a serving dish. Dust with the remaining confectioners' sugar and cinnamon just before serving.
