generous 2 1/2 cups/400 g blanched
almonds

1 cup/150 g confectioners'/icing sugar

3 tbsp warm water

1 cup/100 g chopped pine nuts

1/3 cup/50 g confectioners'
sugar, to dust
Method:

Chop the
almonds in a food processor or blender until
finely ground. Transfer to a large bowl and mix
in the sugar.

Beat the
confectioners' sugar and water in a medium bowl
until a thick paste has formed. Mix into the
almond mixture.

Roll out he
marzipan on a work surface dusted with
confectioners' sugar. Shape into a ball. Let
rest for 30 minutes.

Break off
pieces of dough and form into balls the size of
marbles.

Roll in the
pine nuts and dust with the remaining
confectioners' sugar.
