Devilled Cod with
Soy Yogurt

For the Sauce:

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Mix the turmeric,
chili powder, mustard, cream and yoghurt in a bowl.

Lay out the cod steaks and sprinkle the salt and
pepper generously over them.

Place the cod in an
ovenproof dish, pour the sauce over the fish, and
bake in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the
fish is cooked.

Serve hot with boiled new potatoes
and artichokes, or other vegetables of your choice.
Note: This
Devilled cod fish is a good example and the lack of
dairy cream really allows for the full, fiery
flavors of the turmeric, mustard and chili powder to
have full effect.
