Easy Dishes Recipes - Salmon Carpaccio with Truffle Oil Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons extra-virgin

  • olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon white truffle oil

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 400 g/14 oz raw salmon fillet, skinned and thinly sliced

  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons cream

  • A few chives, snipped

Serves 4


Method:

  1. Season olive oil, truffle oil, and lemon juice with salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

  2. Distribute onto 4 flat plates and place thin slices of salmon flat on top of the sauce.

  3. Thin mayonnaise with cream. Using a spoon, distribute onto salmon.

  4. Garnish each serving with freshly chopped chives and serve with fresh baguette.

Note: The truffle oil turns this carpaccio into a delicacy. If desired one can additionally grate white truffles over the salmon.
