Ingredients

1 large onion,
thinly sliced

1/4 cup chopped
green pepper
-
2 tbsp butter or
margarine
-
1/2 cup tomato
ketchup
-
1/2 cup water
-
1 tbsp
Worcestershire Sauce
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
Dash pepepr
Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce
Method:
-
In saucepan,
sauté onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
-
Stir in ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt and
pepper.
-
Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring
occasionally.
-
Serve over baked, broiled or fried fish,
omelets or other meat or chicken dishes.
