Sicilian-Style Pizza
Ingredients

1 13.8-ounce
package refrigerated pizza dough (for 1 crust)

8 ounces bulk
Italian sausage
-
1/2 of a medium
green sweet pepper, cut into thin strips

1 8-ounce can
pizza sauce
-
1 4-ounce can
(drained weight) sliced mushrooms, drained

1 8-ounce package
shredded pizza cheese (2 cups)
Method:

Preheat
oven to 425°F. Place bread shell on an un-greased baking sheet or
pizza pan.

Top bread shell with tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and
olives. Drizzle olive oil over all. Bake pizza for 8 minutes.
Carefully sprinkle with escarole. Bake for 2 minutes more.

To serve,
sprinkle Romano cheese and freshly ground black pepper over pizza.
