Sausage Pizza
Ingredients

1 13.8-ounce package
refrigerated pizza dough (for 1 crust)

8 ounces bulk Italian
sausage
-
1/2 of a medium green
sweet pepper, cut into thin strips

1 8-ounce can pizza
sauce
-
1 4-ounce can (drained
weight) sliced mushrooms, drained

1 8-ounce package
shredded pizza cheese (2 cups)
Method:
-
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Grease a 12-inch pizza pan; press pizza dough
into prepared pan, building up side. Bake for 5
minutes.

Meanwhile, in a medium skillet cook sausage
and sweet pepper until sausage is brown. Drain off
fat. Stir pizza sauce and mushrooms into sausage
mixture in skillet.

Sprinkle
half of the cheese on the crust. Spoon sausage
mixture over cheese. Top with remaining cheese.

Bake
for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Let
stand for 5 minutes before serving.
