Sloppy Joes Italian-Style
Ingredients

12 ounces lean ground
beef
-
1 8-ounce can tomato
sauce
-
1 tablespoon dried
minced onion
-
1/4
teaspoon dried
oregano, crushed

1/4 teaspoon dried basil,
crushed

8 3-inch hard rolls
-
1 cup shredded
mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)

1/4
cup grated Parmesan
cheese
Method:

Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large skillet cook ground
beef until brown. Drain off fat. Stir tomato sauce,
dried minced onion, oregano, and basil into beef
in skillet. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and
simmer for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile,
cut a thin slice from the top of each roll; set tops of
rolls aside. Scoop out insides of rolls, leaving
1/2-inch-thick shells. Set shells aside. Reserve
scooped-out bread for another use. Divide beef mixture
evenly among roll shells.

Top with mozzarella and
Parmesan cheese. Cover with roll tops. Wrap each roll in
foil. Place on a large baking sheet. Bake about 20
minutes or until heated through.
