Recipes - More-Than-Pizza Pie
Ingredients

1 15-ounce
package folded refrigerated unbaked piecrusts (2
crusts)

1 pound ground beef or
bulk Italian sausage
-
2 8-ounce cans pizza sauce
-
1 10-ounce package
frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained

2 eggs
-
1 cup ricotta cheese or
cottage cheese
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
cheese
-
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian
seasoning, crushed
Method:
-
Preheat oven to 425°F. Let piecrusts stand at room
temperature for 15 minutes as directed on package.

Meanwhile, for meat filling, in a large skillet cook
meat until brown. Drain off fat Stir pizza sauce and
spinach into meat in skillet Set aside.

In a medium bowl
beat eggs with a fork; stir in ricotta cheese, Parmesan
cheese, and Italian seasoning. Line a 9-inch pie plate
with one of the piecrusts. Spoon ricotta mixture into
crust.

Top with meat filling. Place remaining piecrust
over meat filling. Seal and flute edge. Cut slits in top
crust to allow steam to escape.

Bake about 25
minutes or until crust is golden brown.
