Ingredients

2 onions,
chopped
-
30 ml/2 tbsp chopped fresh
coriander (cilantro)
-
15ml/1 tbsp green masala paste
-
15 ml/I tbsp chopped fresh mint
-
3 green chilies, chopped
-
1 green (bell) pepper, chopped
-
30ml/2 tbsp grated (shredded)
coconut
-
45 ml/3 tbsp ghee
-
2 lb prawns (shrimp), peeled
-
salt and pepper
Method:
-
Puree the onions, coriander,
masala paste, mint, chilies, pepper and coconut to a
paste in a blender or food processor.
-
Heat the ghee and fry the paste
for about 5 minutes. Add the prawns and fry for
a further 5 minutes, stirring well.
-
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve hot with rice.
