Fruits Dessert Recipe - Red Cabbage and Apple
Ingredients

2 tbsp (30ml) butter
-
1 medium size red cabbage,
finely shredded
-
3 tbsp (45ml) honey
-
1 small onion, peeled and
grated
-
1 apple, grated
-
1 pear, peeled and chopped
-
1/4 cup (60ml) red wine
-
3 tbsp (45ml) lemon juice
Method:
-
Melt
butter in a large pan and saute the cabbage with the
honey. Add the onion, apple, pear, wine and lemon
juice. Bring to a boil.

Simmer, covered, for 1 hour, shaking pan
occasionally during cooking.
