Fruits Dessert Recipe - Orange Crust Pastry

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups (310ml) all-purpose flour, sifted

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) unsalted butter, cubed

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) margarine

  • 1 tsp (5ml) grated orange rind

  • 3 tbsp (45ml) orange juice


Method:

  1. Place flour in a bowl. Cut in butter and margarine until mixture resemble breadcrumbs, /stir in  orange rind.

  2. Mix orange juice into flour mixture to form a soft dough. Wrap in plastic warp. Refrigerate for 1 hour before rolling out.
