Chinese Desserts Recipes - Snow Balls
Ingredients

1 firm ripe mango, peeled and
cut in 3/4 inch (2cm) cubes

3 slices ripe fresh pineapple,
peeled and cut 3/4 inch (2cm) cubes

1 large apple, peeled and cut
in 3/4 inch (2cm) cubes
-
3 kiwi fruit, peeled and cut in
3/4 inch (2cm) cubes
-
3 firm bananas, peeled and cut
in 3/4 inch (2cm) cubes
-
1/2 lb (225g) strawberries
-
1 tbsp (15ml) orange liqueur
-
6-8 large spring roll wrappers
-
1 egg white, beaten
-
vegetable oil, for frying
-
icing sugar
-
vanilla ice cream
Method:
-
Combine fruit in a bowl. Sprinkle with liqueur and
stand 15 minutes; drain. Divide fruit between spring
roll wrappers. Brush edges with egg white. Roll up
as for ordinary spring rolls.

Fry
three rolls at a time in oil to cover. When golden,
remove and drain well.

Dust
with icing sugar and serve with ice cream.
