Chocolate Desserts Recipe - Banana Boats
Ingredients
Chocolate Sauce

8 oz (225g) dark or semisweet
baking chocolate
-
2 cups (500ml) water
-
1 tbsp (15ml) sugar
-
few drops vanilla extract
-
1/4 cup (60ml) heavy cream
-
2 tsp (10ml) butter
Method:
-
Prepare chocolate sauce following instructions in
Pears Helene recipe. Allow sauce to cool.
-
Place 2 scoops ice cream in each of 4 sundae
glasses. Place a banana on top and pour chocolate
sauce over.
-
Sprinkle each serving with chopped nuts and serve
immediately.
