Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts Recipe

 
 

Dim Sum Recipe - Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients

  • 6 oz (180g) can whole water chestnuts

  • 3 tbsp (45ml) hoisin sauce

  • 4-6 slices bacon


 

 Method:   

  1. Drain and dry water chestnuts, Mix with hoisin sauce. Cut each bacon slice into strips long enough to wrap around each chestnut. Secure with toothpick.

  2. Arrange on a foil-covered tray. Roast at 425F (220C) for 10-15 minutes until bacon is crisp.
