Chinese Recipe – Golden Fish in Apricot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 600g whole fish (center bone removed)

For marinate:

  • 1 tbsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour

For the Sauce:

  • 6-8 pcs Dry apricot, diced
  • 2 tbsp fresh kunyit, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon grass, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 tbsp red chilies, chopped
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp Fine salt
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Apricot jam
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • coriander, lemon slices and chilies for garnish

Serve 4-6
