Pickled Shrimp
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 pounds
cooked, shelled and deveined medium
or large shrimp

2 medium-size onions,
thinly sliced and rings separated

16 to 20 bay leaves

1 to 1 1/2 cups
Piquant French Dressing (below) Crackers
Piquant French Dressing:
Method:

In medium-size bowl arrange alternate layers of shrimp,
onion rings and bay leaves.

Pour dressing over the top,
pressing down so top layer is covered. Let stand in
refrigerator at least 24 hours to blend flavors.

Serve
as an hors d' oeuvre on crackers, as a cocktail or in a
salad.
To prepare Piquant French Dressing:
Mix mustard with water and let stand 10 minutes to
develop flavor. Combine all ingredients in ajar. Cover
tightly and shake.
