Appetizers Recipes - Mushroom Liver Pate

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. butter or margarine

  • 2/3 cup chopped fresh mushrooms

  • 1/3 cup chopped onion

  • 2 cans (4 3/4-ounce) Underwood Liverwurst Spread

  • 2 Tbs. brandy

  • 2 tsps. dried chives

  • 1/4 tsp. Ac'cent flavor enhancer


Method:

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium low heat. Add mushrooms and onions; sauté 10 minutes, until all moisture has evaporated.

  2. Stir in liverwurst spread, brandy, chives and flavor enhancer. Spoon into a serving bowl. Chill. Serve cold with crackers.
