Appetizers Recipes - Make-Ahead Ham and Mushroom Pate

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. butter or margarine

  • 1/4 lb. coarsely chopped fresh mushrooms

  • 2 4 1/2-oz. cans Underwood Deviled Ham

  • 1 3-oz. package cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 tsp. ground thyme

  • Party bread slices

Makes 1 3/4 cups pate


Method:

  1. Day before: Melt butter in a skillet and sauté mushrooms over medium heat until tender.

  2. Combine Deviled Ham, cream cheese and thyme; blend well. Stir in sautéed mushrooms.

  3. Cover and chill overnight. Serve on party bread slices.
