Appetizers Recipes - Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sauterne or other dry white wine

  • 1 large clove garlic, minced

  • 1 lb. natural Swiss cheese, cubed or shredded

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 1 11-oz. can Campbell's Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup

  • French or Italian bread cubes

Makes about 4 cups


Method:

  1. In saucepan or fondue pot, simmer wine and garlic. Combine cheese and flour; gradually blend into wine. Heat until cheese melts; stir often.

  2. Blend in soup. Heat, stirring until smooth. Spear bread with fork or toothpick and dip into fondue.
